Outline of the 2026 Festival, as developed to 26th May, 2026

The weekend will follow much the same format as previous festivals, with a few exceptions.

PLEASE NOTE THESE TIMINGS ARE PROVISIONAL AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE BEFORE THE EVENT

Friday

14:00 Campsite open. Check in and set up.

16:00 – 19:00 Registration in the Gilchrist Room at Easterbrook Hall. There will be a bar and tea/coffee and an opportunity for socialising. Camping set up, grabbing some food etc.

19:30 Get-Together in Easterbrook Hall — informal singing and dancing led by the host choirs. There will be a bar open until 01:00.

NB: Hot food will be available until 8pm from food trucks (pizza, etc) and Crichton Central and Easterbrook Bistro.

Saturday

08:00 – 09:00 Late Registration. Breakfast can be purchased from Crichton Central and Easterbrook Bistro.

–>Campers, please note: It will not be possible to pitch camp during the hours of the Park Run 9:00am – 11:00am; campervans arriving during this time will need to park up outside EasterBrook Hall and await the conclusion of the Park Run before pitching camp<–

9:00 – 11:00: Massed Sing rehearsal in Easterbrook Hall

12:00 – 12:45 Massed Sing in Dock Park* (This is a free event, open to all)

13:00 – 15:00 Street Singing in Dumfries (These Singing Performances are free to all, located as shown on the Street Singing menu)

16:00 -17:40 First part of concert (Easterbrook Hall) Entrance to Registered Participants Only (Choir Schedule Here)

17:40 – 18:40 Break

18:40 – 22:30 Second part of concert (Easterbrook Hall) Entrance to Registered Participants Only (Choir Schedule Here)

22:30 – 01:00 Bar and socialising


NB: There will be a pop-up café within Easterbrook Hall for the duration of the Festival, serving hot and cold drinks, cakes etc. Additional hot food will also be available Saturday evening – details to follow.

Sunday

08:00 – 09:00 Breakfast can be purchased from Crichton Central and Easterbrook Bistro

09:30 – 10:30 Workshop 1

10:30 – 11:00 Break (Picnics can be collected from the lobby in Easterbrook Hall from 10:30)

11:00 – 12:00 Workshop 2

12:15 – Choir Reps meeting/Feedback Session in Duncan Room 3

12:15 – 14:00 Picnic and close
