Friday evening
The Welcome/Information desk, Registration, wristband collection, tee-shirts and bag distribution and the Mass Sing Rehearsal all happen on Friday evening in St. George’s Hall (///enter.penny.dome).
Saturday

Whilst we are all gathering in preparation for the Mass Sing, entertainment will be provided by a wonderful street band called The Peace Artistes. We will also be sharing City Park with the Windrush Carnival of Culture. There will be a main stage, food stalls and a funfair set up in City Park (. The Mass Sing follows the Official Welcome and will also be in The Mirror Pool in City Park before the Windrush celebrations begin.
Our Street Singing will start shortly after this at various locations around the city centre.
Sunday Morning Workshops
There are 2 workshop sessions on Sunday morning with 16 choices for each session. Further details of each workshop are also on the Workshops page. The number of choices available will reduce as workshops fill up.
Sunday Picnic and Close
Our picnic has been sourced locally and has been planned to celebrate Bradford’s diverse cuisine.
Pre-ordered picnics will be available for collection between 12:30-13:00pm from the side entrance of City Hall, Channing Way. Stewards will direct you to the picnic area, Norfolk Gardens, at the back of City Hall. As usual there is no formal close but a time for fond farewells. Full details on the Sunday Picnic Page.

Access and Inclusion
Bradford SCF2025 are committed to providing an accessible and inclusive event, to ensure that all our choir participants feel welcome and can fully take part. We have endeavoured to take feedback on board from previous events and consulted with those who have lived experience to identify potential barriers and put systems in place to mitigate where possible.
We have a dedicated Access and Inclusion coordinator who will be available throughout the weekend to provide information and advice, and to support our incredible team of voluntary stewards to resolve any unforeseen issues. All stewards will have details of the Access and Inclusion phone number which will also be available at the Welcome and Information Desk based in St Georges Hall on Friday and Saturday, or outside City Hall on Channing Way on Sunday.
Key Information:
Our signage and information has been designed in plain neurodiverse-friendly fonts where possible. Booklet information can be provided in alternative formats by prior arrangement. Please email StreetChoirsBradford@gmail.com and we will get in touch to discuss your requirements.
Stewards will be available to assist with directions and information. Routes are being planned with simple navigation and minimal obstacles in mind.
We will have a dedicated quiet space in our main venue at St Georges Hall and stewards will be briefed on supporting people who are in need of some space or a friendly ear.
The Mass Sing and the Street Singing space in the Peace Gardens will have a British Sign Language interpreter to provide access to BSL users from the local community.
The majority of our indoor and outdoor venues and locations are fully accessible to those who use mobility aids. See Venue Access Page.
Ahead of the event: If you have any further requests or require information regarding Access and Inclusion ahead of the event please contact StreetChoirsBradford@gmail.com
During the weekend: Please ask a steward to contact the Access and Inclusion phone number or visit the Welcome and Information Desk based in St Georges Hall on Friday and Saturday, or outside City Hall on Channing Way on Sunday.

Eat, drink and shop with less waste by clicking on the link below:

- Pret A Manger (The Broadway Shopping Centre) – Very happy to do refills.
- Tiffin Coffee (The Wool Exchange- Waterstones Book Shop, Hustlergate) – They are on the refill app but only have a large water container and they wouldn’t have time to keep filling it up especially at lunchtime. Also need to check with manager
- Wetherspoons (Centenary Square) – Happy to put a row of jugs of water at the far end of the bar. (Also useful as a toilet place too as it’s easy to walk in and go up the stairs at the front).
- Starbucks (Centenary Square) – They have a water tap on the counter.
- Lefteris Cafe (Tyrell Street) – Happy to fill your bottles.
- The Cake’ole Cafe (Centenary Square) – Happy to fill your bottles, however, gets very busy at lunchtime.

- Ginger Goose pub (Market St) – They are very happy to put jugs of water out for singers.
- Waterstones Cafe (Hustlergate) – Some water is available but will only refill bottles if eating there.

We want you to enjoy your time here and in a safe way. As such whilst staying in your accommodation, using the festival indoor and outdoor venues/spaces and travelling between places and crossing roads we ask that you please take care of yourself, your health, wellbeing and safety, your personal belongings and any banners you have brought as well as looking out for others.
If there’s a health and safety issue you come across that you are unable to address yourself then please contact ASAP a festival volunteer steward (wearing yellow) who will do their best to help including access to First Aid.
We have done our best to support you against any potential health and safety risks/hazards. This is captured in our Risk Assessment which we strongly advise all choir members to look at prior to and during the weekend. Please read our Health & Safety statement here.
